Welcome to these Lectures on Infinity, my series of lectures exploring all my favorite paradoxes and conundrums, based on my book, The Book of Infinity.
In this lecture, we explore the question: what is infinity? What is the infinite? Can we give a clear and precise account of this sublime, elusive notion? And what about the finite? There have actually been many proposals put forth in history, and so let’s discuss what is on offer and try to come to a resolution.
